Finally, the weather is getting sunny and warm again! The sun started shining a few weeks ago and we were starting to play outside every day and then it looked like winter came back all over again. I was stuck inside, which is fine because I love playing with my cars and blocks, but nothing beats my slide and swing outside in the fresh air. I wish my parents understood that I don’t care about eating dinner or that I bumped my face and my nose is bleeding, I never want to go back inside once I am out. Unfortunately, I am still little enough that they pick me up, regardless of how stiff I make my back and how loud I cry, and they take me in. Once I am in, I usually realize that they are right and eating dinner, taking a bath, or getting an ice pack for my face really is a good idea. Ugh...how do parents get to be so smart?
Anyways, my latest trick I have mastered outside in addition to counting “one, two, three” with Mom and Dad when they push me in my swing, is to find rocks, carry them up the gigantic ladder, watch them zoom down the slide, and then chase after them down the slide while yelling “WEEEEEE!” I am even getting better about landing on my feet at the bottom of the slide...and it is a BIG slide!
