My True Age

Mom and Dad ask me from time to time how old I am.  Being that I am an honest man, I always answer proudly that I am 3!  Well, I am beginning to understand why they are asking me this question time and time again.  They ask me how old I am and then that is the number of times I get to jump or the number of cookies I get or the number of minutes I get to continue playing.  Well, today I put on my thinking cap and answered a little differently.

After dinner Dad was going to hold my hands and help me do a super jump all the way up the ceiling.  Here was our conversation:

Me:  How many times are we going to jump to the ceiling?
Dad:  Hmmm, I don't know.  How old are you?
Me:  Five!

Happy Halloween

We started decorating for Halloween this weekend.  My neighbors have a witch and a "scalawag" hanging from their trees.  I love saying hi to Mr. Witch every time I am outside.  Dad and I picked the perfect spot for our scarecrow and pumpkins.  We did a great job decorating.  Mom and I put up the inside decorations.  We even put some on the windows.  I hung up all the "ghostes".  I learned how to spell boo "B-B-O-O".  We went down to Nonny and Pop's house.  She started putting up her decorations too.  She has names for all of her scarecrows.  Mom doesn't know our scarecrows names.  I'll have to ask them tomorrow.  Hopefully they will answer me because so far Mr. Witch has not said hi back. - Big Man
